Some already know there is a problem and are trying to fix it, while others assume that once a website goes live, people will automatically start finding it online.
But that is not always true.
The truth is, when your website is not showing up on Google, it is usually caused by a few simple things. In most cases, it comes down to one of these: your website has not been properly added to Google yet, something is blocking search engines from reading it, the content on your site is not strong enough for Google to rank it, or your business information on Google is incomplete or not set up correctly.

2. Something is blocking Google from seeing your website
Another common reason is that Google is being blocked without you knowing.

When this happens, Google can visit your site but it won’t show it to people in search results.
So even though your website is live, Google is basically “not allowed” to fully see it.

3. Your website doesn’t have enough useful content
Google does not just show websites because they exist. It shows websites that are helpful.

Think of it this way, Google wants to show websites that answer people’s questions properly. If your website doesn’t clearly explain what you do or what you offer, it becomes hard for Google to recommend it.
